Challenge yourself daily of gratitude and happiness! Who is in? I will be doing this.
Harvard University Psychologist and best-selling author Shawn Achor has made a career studying the science of happiness. He states if you write at least 3 things a day that you are grateful for, you are heightening your frequencies for more gratitude and happiness in your life. They don't have to be profound. It could be a really good cup of coffee or the warmth of a sunny day.
I used my tablet and downloaded an app called: Memories. I also added a daily picture. I must say that I was and still am amazed how easily I would forget what I was grateful for yesterday, 4 days ago or even 2 two weeks ago. It was a wonderful reminder for me to look back to where I was when I started and where I am today.
How easy do we forget the stop and smell the flowers!
Use your phone/tablet/ipad/computer (something that you travel with that is in your purse daily) to download an app similar to the one I used. There are many apps for diaries that you may find to use. It is really soothing to take a few minutes break to do this for yourself.
