“The more you read, the more your thinking is simulated.”
Monthly (last day of each month), let’s share books to inspire each other in the comment section. I will keep a list of our library and will have handy direct link soon (currently working on my new website). For now, there is a list in the “FILE” section above of the books we have shared.
THREE MAGIC WORDS
Many moons ago, I was working with a Greek woman whom many thought she was slow in her pace in the workplace and many could not relate as English was not her first language. One day, out of the blue, she told me that I should meditate because I am all-over-the-place. At the time I had left my life abroad and my fiancé and was having second doubts about this – long story short. She began to tell me that she meditates twice a day with her teen-age daughters. She told me that she had a ‘sacred’ area where she meditated or you may call it an oasis. I remember telling her that I did not know how to meditate (at that time there was no internet or groups, etc. available like today). She told me she had a book for me to read that would help me.
A few days later, she gave me a tattered book called “Three Magic Words” by Uell Stanley Anderson written in 1954. She told me that it had been handed down and shared with many since that time. Why she choose me to share this sacred book, I do not know. I have read this book many times but did not do the meditations because at that time I had a belief that you had to completely silent the mind. If only ……. I knew what I know today!
By the way, several months after sharing the book, she was in the newspaper for winning the lottery. She won $8.4 million dollars.
Crazy thing is that I still have the tattered book in one of my storage lockers and hope I get the chance to return it to her. And this may be a sign that I should re-read this book. I have gifted this book many and was told by a few it was one of the best books that they have read.
Also, as I was writing this post, I had to look up the first name of the author and to find that 3 Magic Words is made into a documentary film about spirituality. Amazing …. I LOVE how the Universe works. I will be watching this film after the this posting!
PS More on this …. Wayne Dyer talks about his favorite book, "Three Magic Words" by U.S Andersen that inspired the motion picture, 3 Magic Words.
